As a professional actress and singer, Leah has appeared on and off-Broadway, in film, television, web video and commercials.
Her work includes appearances on “Blindspot,” “The Deuce,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Hack My Life,” as well as numerous independent films including When the Moon Was Twice as Big, Top Floor and All The Broken Pieces. She stars in the viral web video “Postpartum: The Musical” and is the co-host of a video series by WebMD. Onstage, she has performed with Manhattan Theater Club, Mint Theater, Guthrie Theater, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Baltimore CenterStage, Pittsburgh Public Theater, American Players Theater and more.
Writer / Filmmaker
Leah is the writer/director of the short film Interview Requested and writer/producer of Dirty Laundry. Other directing credits include the comedy shorts Officer Grumpy and Marco Polo Finds His Pants (currently in post production). Her autobiographical cabaret, Hear My Song: A Modern Day Musical Fable, premiered at The Duplex in NYC. She has several projects currently in development including an espionage comedy and a historical limited series.
She lives in Brooklyn with her amazing and talented husband – actor / director / writer / improviser Andy Schneeflock. She enjoys (among other things) history, horseback riding, podcasts, breakfast, learning about things, and fuzzy socks.
